Guiding Principles As leaders and partners in the Alliance we have principles which
serve as guidance in making leadership decisions in our respective ministries.
These principles parallel, but do not substitute for, sound doctrine based in
Biblical truth. These principles serve as guideposts when faced with temptations
to do it ‘man’s way’, when tempted to follow models of others as a pathway to
our ministry ‘success’, when tempted to get our personal sense of value and
ministry sense of accomplishment from anything other than Jesus Christ, His call
in our lives, and His completed work on the cross.
1. As Leaders we find our worth and value in who we
are because of Jesus Christ.
2. As Leaders we have
all we need in life and Godliness through His finished work on the
cross.
3. As Leaders we seek to eliminate
emotional and spiritual walls between us and other people.
4. As Leaders we employ servant-hood principles in reaching the lost
and in making disciples of those we reach.
5. As
Leaders we never exalt ourselves above those we lead and serve and never exalt
those we lead and serve above God.
6. As Leaders
we seek to develop sending capacity before seating capacity.
7. As
Leaders we measure the effectiveness of our ministry through changed
lives.
Crossfire is a church without walls, built on the foundation of grace and love; serving God, building people, and reaching beyond the walls within us to the world around us.
