"Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." 2 Corinthians 3:17
We believe in freedom in worship. Our worship service is designed to allow open communication between God and His people. We often begin worship with a time of testimonies for people to speak openly about what God is doing in their lives. You will have opportunities to worship God with your tithes and offerings. Our praise and worship as expressed through song is an important part of our service: it facilitates expression of our love for the Lord, and opens our hearts to hear His Word. The Lord's primary Word to us is the Holy Bible. The Lord also speaks to us through the spiritual gifts given to believers to edify the body of Christ. In any one of Crossfire's worship services you may experience or witness the use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as outlined in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11: the message of wisdom, message of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, miraculous powers, prophecy, distinguishing between spirits, speaking in different kinds of tongues and interpretation of tongues. All of these gifts, when used, are measured against the Bible for accuracy. When it comes to worship, we are not bound by the traditions of men (Mark 7:8); rather, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free!" (Gal. 5:1)
Crossfire is a church without walls, built on the foundation of grace and love; serving God, building people, and reaching beyond the walls within us to the world around us.
